Since 2013, Fière la fête is a fun family oriented and inclusive event. Located in the Eastern Townships, Fière la fête celebrates diversity wether of gender or sexuality and brings together families, community groups, students and the Eastern Townships public in general.

This event offers a safe space for discussion and sharing experiences on the subjects of sexual diversity and the creation of a network. Since 2013, there have been 5 successful editions bringing together between 500 and 1 000 people each time celebrating diversity and openness. On August 25th, this celebration continues for a 6th edition at the Marché de la gare, in Sherbrooke. The program will include a Community Fair day, with more than 20 community groups from various regions of the province, a parade through downtown Sherbrooke, a discussion panel, family oriented activities and many more surprises.  A special show by Random Recipe will be held at theatre Granada at 9 pm on the 25th. Community groups, college and university organisations, etc. they’re all part of this organizing committee reflecting the true spirit of the people of the Eastern Townships.
