The Montréal gay community is known for the wild nightlife of the Village’s establishments, as it has been kwowed   locally for more than 35 years, one of the largest gay neighbourhoods in the world. On week days, as soon as the clock strikes five, a motley crew of clubbers takes over the bars and cafés for the traditional happy hour, others will wait until  9 pm to go out and pack the place. Ah, the bars – What would we do without them? They've evolved over the years and offer a large array of excitements : themes nights, nude dancers — so specific to Montreal —, drag shows, karaoke nights… On weekends, regulars go to the nightclubs from 11 pm and to the afterhours, not before 1 am. But all offer a hot spot    where die-hard party devotees can dance the night away. Let the party begin!
